| Will you be making any
additional charges over & above those published on the Fees & Costs
page on this web site? |
| |
No, the published charges are all
that you will pay and are based on a single fixed charge. We fully explain what
you will get for your money on our page at Our
Service and the court fees and our charges are explained on our page at
Fees & Costs.
Please take note that
depending on the progress of your claim there may be additional court fees to
pay for the allocation of a court hearing or enforcing judgments. These are fully
explained on our Fees & Costs page.

| Will we always have the same
named consultant? |
| |
Yes. Our consultants have a limited
portfolio of clients in order that they attend to clients' requirements on an
individual basis.
| Can Claim-Link advise us on
existing legal issues? |
| |
We do not offer specific legal
advice. It may be appropriate to refer you to a specialist solicitor. However,
we can provide procedural advice particularly if you already have a judgment
and require enforcement or are awaiting a
hearing and need information on Appearing In
Court.
Please email us with your details, progress to date and any
problems using admin@claim-link.co.uk and we will let
you know.
| In the event of procedural
problems will you assist with our negotiations with the court or the other
side? |
| |
Yes. But please keep in mind that the
main objective of our service is is to ensure that the court procedures run
smoothly - not to get into the position of having to "fire fight" problem
areas.
| If I lose will I have to pay
costs to the other side? |
| |
It really depends on the conduct of
the action.
In the event of a spurious or fraudulent claim the judge
will probably award costs against the Claimant - partly as a punishment. The
District Judge also has the option to award travel expenses, loss of earnings
and interest to the other side. If the other side have legal representation the
judge will decide just how essential this was before making a costs decision.
